Ned Rorem, composer
Gertrude Stein, libbretist
Come stay up late with Ned Rorem’s Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters. With a libretto by Gertrude Stein, the opera follows five children as their make-believe game of murder blurs the line between reality and playing pretend. Whether the events of this comedy are real or not…well, wait and see.
Featuring provocative choreography by M.F.A. Dance students, this concert is a collection of eclectic new works, serving as an unguarded exploration of these diverse artists' talents and interests.
This event includes works of Mars Burggraf, Katie Quinn, Daniel Miramontes, Mina Kawahara, and Javi Padilla.
Irina Muresanu, violin
Dana Ciocarlie, piano
Violinist Irina Muresanu and pianist Dana Ciocârlie present an exciting program of Romanian composers named “Infinite Strings”. The title represents an homage to two of Romania’s greatest artists: violinist and composer George Enescu and sculptor Constantin Brâncusi.
Join the Kreators of the Kreativity Diversity Troupe for an open mic night, full of music, dance and spoken word.
