Institutional Giving

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center gratefully acknowledges its institutional donors for their generous investment in the performing arts at Maryland. Federal, state and public agencies, private charitable foundations and corporations help underwrite the programs that distinguish The Clarice as one of the nation’s leading performing arts centers in a university setting.

Institutional funders support The Clarice’s Artist Partner Program, the commissioning of new work and artist residencies which provide meaningful opportunities to engage audiences both on and off-campus. The Clarice’s intentional and comprehensive collaboration between its visiting artists, undergraduate and graduate students has firmly cemented our place as a leader in our field.

For more information about institutional giving opportunities, please contact Susan Berkun, Assistant Director of Institutional Giving, at 301.405.9608 or sberkun@umd.edu.
