HEALTH & SAFETY

We’re honored to welcome you back to The Clarice! Safeguarding your health and the health of our staff and artists during our gradual return to live performances is our top priority. Below is more information to help you prepare for your visit.

WHAT OUR TEAM IS DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE

Marking Appropriate Physical Distancing • When you enter our Grand Pavilion, you will see safety markings 6 ft apart so that you can easily visualize safe distancing while waiting to enter our venues or use the restroom.

Hand Sanitizer Stations • Stations for frequent hand sanitizing will be positioned throughout the Grand Pavilion for your convenience.

Increased Cleaning • More frequent special cleanings of handles and other commonly touched surfaces.

4Maryland • All University of Maryland students, faculty and staff who attend performances will be vaccinated or complete mandatory health attestations before arriving on campus, in addition to following healthy behavior protocols on campus.

HOW YOU WILL HELP IN KEEPING US SAFE

Mandatory Mask Wearing • You are required to wear a properly fitting mask over your nose and mouth.

Seating Pods • Guests will be seated in socially distanced pods that seat up to four patrons.

Paperless Experience • Electronic tickets will be issued for all performances and can be shown on your phone or printed at home before you arrive.  We will also be transitioning away from printed  program books.

Food and Drink • In the interest of safety, food and drink will not be available at Encore Bar. Eating or consuming food and beverages during performances or intermissions is not permitted. With the exception of bottled water, outside food and beverages will not be permitted at concerts or during intermission.

Extended Breaks • To increase air circulation, there will be extended intermission breaks during performances. All patrons and performers will be required to leave the Concert Hall during these breaks to allow the air in the room to changeover.
