Then and Now....30 Years of Pullen

In the fall of 1987, Thomas G. Pullen opened its doors as the first K-8 Creative and Performing Arts School in Prince George's County. This year we are celebrating 30 years as a Creative and Performing Arts school by showcasing alumni who have continued to pursue their interest in the arts professionally, highlighting current works by current students, and honoring the principals who have and continue to lead the way. Our host for the evening is alumnus Mikea Turner, the weekend morning anchor and weekday morning reporter for Wake Up Washington on WUSA, the CBS-affiliate in DC.

TEMPO Concert

TEMPO, the graduate student-led new music ensemble at UMD, presents a wide variety of recent works that use the human voice in fresh and creative ways.
