Amir Eldan has an extensive career as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest principal cellist. At the age of 22, he made history by becoming the youngest member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in New York, where he won the position of Associate Principal Cello. He has collaborated with members of the Guarneri and Juilliard String Quartet, Richard Goode and Lynn Harrell, among many more. Join us as Eldan takes the stage for a special recital performance.

Join the University of Maryland Bands as we host our first annual Invitational Honor Band concert featuring 62 musicians from 27 high schools from across Maryland and Virginia.
Since its founding in 1975, hundreds of voices have joined together to share joyous music through UMD’s very own gospel choir. The group is committed to encouraging fellowship and community service.
