ABOUT THE EVENT
DANCE² is a dance installation about human-robot interaction and our collective feelings about technology’s influence on the future. Audiences will use their smartphones to interact with the performance, influencing the choreography of the human and robotic dancers. Through their choices, we will explore the question of whether emerging technology is bringing us closer together or pulling us farther apart.

School of Music Fellowship Ensemble: Terrapin Brass Quintet

The UMD School of Music launched its first-ever graduate fellowship brass quintet, Terrapin Brass, in the Fall 2021 semester as a way to further showcase its esteemed brass program. Now in its second iteration, the group presents a recital of brass works and transcriptions in this performance, Ascension, featuring works by Bozza, Bach and more!
