In Times Like These

Dancing by the Power: Movement Matters presents, In Times Like These, an evening length exploration of the tools necessary for survival in the midst of war; a clarion call for love, for community, for justice that starts with how we care for ourselves and each other.  Featuring live musical performances by CAFE steel drum orchestra, Michael Aaron, Ronyah LaVaune, Wendy Hicks and of course, Movement Matters dance company!  With a pop-up vintage shop and interactive mural, audience members will be invited to explore and express their own longings for love, community and justice!

As music director of the Louisville Orchestra and established pianist, clarinetist, conductor and composer, he’s on the front lines of connecting with musicians, audiences and students.

Saxophone Symposium

Join the University of Maryland Saxophone Studios for a night of saxophone repertoire.  Both the Jazz and Classical saxophone studios will be presenting a concert of exciting works spanning a wide range of genres.
