As music director of the Louisville Orchestra and established pianist, clarinetist, conductor and composer, he’s on the front lines of connecting with musicians, audiences and students.

Saxophone Symposium

Cello Masterclass with Darrett Adkins

Cellist Darrett Adkins coaches UMD cello students on their solo and chamber repertoire. Adkins has appeared as soloist with the Tokyo Philharmonic, Tochio Soloisten, National Symphony of Brazil, Suwon Philharmonic, and the New Hampshire, North Carolina, Greenwich, and Monadnock Music Festival orchestras. Adkins joined Juilliard faculty in 2002 and the Oberlin Conservatory faculty in 2003.
