OperaTerps

OperaTerps is the University of Maryland's first student run opera company, providing undergraduate musicians the opportunity to take part in a major musical undertaking while enriching cultural life on campus and in the College Park community.

This season we are producing Gilbert and Sullivan's one-act gem, "Trial by Jury," and Georg Philipp Telemann's rarely performed comic story in the Italian and French baroque styles, "Don Quichotte," as a historically informed performance with strings and harpischord.

(un)choir

(un)choir turns the tables on traditional choir. No auditions, no rehearsals, no long-term commitment – just show up and sing a song you love! You’ll get a lyric sheet and then Allison Hughes, music director for the College Park Chorale, will teach you 2 or 3 part harmony to a well-known song. The evening will end with a performance by the whole group.

There is no cost to participate. Food & beverage will be available to purchase from MilkBoy ArtHouse's menu.
