Faculty artists David Salness, violin, Evelyn Elsing, cello, and Mayron Tsong, piano join forces to perform Beethoven’s lean and dramatic “Ghost Trio” (in D major, op. 70, no. 1), and Dvořák’s opulently ethnic Dumky, Trio, op. 90.

In honor of the centennial of Benjamin Britten’s birth, the program also includes his ingeniously conversational Sonata in C, op. 65, for cello and piano.
