This season-opening concert features UMD trumpet professor Chris Gekker performing the Neruda Trumpet Concerto in Eb-Major. Also on the program: Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture and Kalinnikov’s First Symphony.
The University of Maryland Repertoire Orchestra is an all-campus and community orchestra that both performs traditional repertoire and crosses boundaries in its collaborations with rock bands, guest artists, choruses and soloists.
