The UMD Symphony Orchestra and UMD Wind Orchestra combine for this concert led by members of the graduate conducting studios. This semester's performance showcases a variety of composers from the Romantic to Contemporary eras, including works by Jennifer Higdon, Gustav Mahler and more.

This recital will feature a broad range of styles and repertoire presented in a fresh, lively way. Part 1 will take place on April 17 at 7PM and Part 2 will take place on April 18 at 11AM.

Presenting the music of now, the graduate student-led contemporary music ensemble TEMPO focuses on cultivating new music experiences in the community both within and outside of the standard concert hall.

University Band and Maryland Community Band April Concert

Representing a variety of majors across campus, the University Band is joined by the Maryland Community Band for a concert of traditional and contemporary wind band music in a performance perfect for all ages. Repertoire will be announced closer to the concert.

TDPS Experimental Performance Series #4

Featuring provocative choreography by M.F.A. Dance students, this concert is a collection of eclectic new works, serving as an unguarded exploration of these diverse artists' talents and interests.

This concert features works by Daniel Miramontes, Mary Kathryn (MK) Ford, Brittany Falcon, Rebecca Steinberg, Kevin Clark, and Peter Pattengill.
