Join UMD School of Music alum Elizabeth Massey, Ph.D. at 6:30 for a pre-concert talk about the compositional background of the pieces to be performed at the opening concert, as well as a discussion about film music composition.

College Park Youth Orchestra Spring Concert

The College Park Youth Orchestra performs the music of Grieg, J.C. Bach and other composers.

MDSP Spring Performance

The Maryland Shakespeare Players Spring main-stage production of King Lear! Directed by Paul Reader and Katie Hindenach. Shows are May 13th-14th at 7pm and May 15th at 2pm. All are welcome; seats are on a first-come first-serve basis. The Maryland Shakespeare Players is a fully student-run club dedicated to bringing Shakespeare to the University of Maryland, College Park community.

Concessions:
The Clarice lobby concession bar Encore will not be open for food and beverage sales during this event.

I’ll Give You The Sun Staged Reading

Written by Kailee Goldberg, a fellow Theatre major, and adapted from the book with the same title, I’ll Give You The Sun is about the coming of age of twins Noah and Jude. The play is currently still in progress, and there will be a talk-back after the performance for Kailee to get feedback from the audience as she moves forward with writing.
