Dynamic duo Baye & Asa lead a movement workshop to wrap-up the first day of the 2023 BlackLight Summit. We'll activate allfive senses to enlarge the experience of performance, to expand beyond practical execution of movement, to give nuance and idiosyncratic presence to each dancer. Class is sweaty. Everyone is welcome.

Lugano Percussion Ensemble
Acclaimed in Europe’s contemporary music scene, Lugano Percussion Ensemble is based in its namesake city in Switzerland’s only majority-Italian-speaking Canton. Its first members were students at the Swiss Italian Conservatory (CSI/Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana) led by Professor Mircea Ardeleanu. It focused on contemporary music with a particular attention to the fusion of musical and theatrical language elements and a continuous sound research.
A Night out with Zuresh Emporium and Friends
A Night out with Zuresh Emporium is celebrating 25 years of business while highlighting a great cause in The Land on Your Feet Foundation. Proceeds from each ticket will be donated to The Land on Your Feet Foundation as they provide funding to college students and schools around the nation.
The Maryland Shakespeare Players Present: Twelfth Night!
The Maryland Shakespeare Players present their Fall 2022 main stage production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night! Join us at the Kogod Theater in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center for an entirely student-run 70's So-Cal re-imagination of a timeless Shakespearean comedy featuring comments on love, gender roles, and power. Performances will be December 1st and 2nd at 7:30, and December 3rd at 2 and 7pm! No tickets or reservation required! Free to all guests. Donations are accepted! There will be one 15 minute intermission. Recommended for ages 12+.
