Organized by the UMD Art Gallery, this new program aims to bring art outside the walls of the gallery and activate an underutilized section of the Parren J. Mitchell Art-Sociology Building’s large atrium and gathering space. The first in the series will be The People That Is Missing (2019) by Spanish artist Cristina Lucas, a video work that underscores the most devastating effects and consequences of climate change.

Erasable Inc. is the University of Maryland's only all improvisational performance group. Join us for an hour long comedy show where every person, place, and thing is made up on the spot with help from you, the audience!
Learn skate safety and basics in this workshop hosted by We Skate! You’ll gain some beginner tips and tricks from seasoned skaters. No prior experience necessary. Gear will be available so no need to have your own board or skates to participate!

Welcome the warm weather with this new monthly jazz jam session led by D.C.-based saxophonist Elijah Balbed! The house band will play a set starting at 7:30PM. Bring your instrument! After enjoying their set, you’ll have a chance to call a tune! Participation in our jazz jams is free–no tickets required and all levels welcome.
