Prince George’s County Public Schools, through the Division of Teaching and Learning provides extended opportunities for qualified music students to participate in music enrichment programs. At present, the Music Enrichment Program for instrumental music includes elementary, junior and senior youth orchestras/bands.

Gamer Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert
Celebrating its 10th year, the student-run GSO works to establish video game music as a serious art form and to use that music as a way to bring new and younger audiences to orchestral performances.
The GSO is the first collegiate ensemble exclusively devoted to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music and using that music as an educational tool. The orchestra began humbly in late 2005 with six members and now boasts a roster of more than 110 musicians, including 30 singers.
