Kujenga Daraja – The Art of Collaboration

Daraja concludes its tenure at the University of Maryland with a concert that maintains the purpose the ensemble set out to achieve: to build bridges between many different, inspiring people. This concert builds on their previous “Breakout” concert and predominately features unique and exciting collaborations. Daraja is extremely fortunate to share the stage with Professor Rita Sloan to perform Ludwig Thuille’s Sextet for Piano and Winds op.6  and Jean Francaix’s cheeky and charming work,  L’ Heure du Berger.  Also featured on the Program is a world premiere commission by Thomas E.
