The Gamer Symphony Orchestra is a student-run symphonic orchestra at the University of Maryland and the first collegiate ensemble exclusively devoted to performing orchestral arrangements of video game music. Since its establishment in 2005, it has striven to promote video game music as an art form and to continue bringing video game worlds to life through orchestral arrangements - almost all of which are created by its own members.
