For the first time since 2019, join us for UMD's Summer Chorus performance! Featuring works by Mozart, Handel and Vaughan Williams, this concert showcases the work of our talented students and community members.
For three weeks in June and/or July, UMD Summer Chorus rehearses and performs a major choral work with a professional orchestra and soloists. Led by one or more of the talented graduate students in the choral conducting program, past performances have included Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s Harmoniemesse, Duruflé’s Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana.
UMD Summer Chorus is offered to anyone in high school or above who likes to sing—with no audition required! Attendees include potential and current School of Music students, school alumni and members of the community.
For more information and registration, please visit the UMD Summer Chorus page.
