George Crumb's Celestial Mechanics is an iconic avant-garde masterwork for four-hand piano. Crumb's sonic tour-de-force makes the instrument sound in stunning and unimaginable ways: explosions, strange resonances, and cosmic clusters abound in a work that redefines the piano's entire soundscape.

Alongside Crumb's Celestial Mechanics, The Zodiac Duo perform an imaginative program spanning centuries, from the exuberant music of Mozart, to the dazzling colors of Ravel, to the innovative modern-day work of composers György Kurtág and Loren Loiacono.

The Zodiac Duo is formed by acclaimed pianists Mika Sasaki and George Xiaoyuan Fu, who specialize in four-hand piano work from all time periods and genres.
