Join us for an intimate discussion in advance of the 8PM UMD Symphony Orchestra concert. This discussion with be moderated by student and UMD Symphony Orchestra violinist Madeleine Jansen, composer Maria Newman and UMD voice faculty and narrator Carmen Balthrop to discuss Newman's world premiere work Our Rights, and Nothing Less. Also, solo pianist Miko Kominami joins UMD Symphony Orchestra Music Director David Neely in discussing the accompanying works on the program.
