This interactive installation electronically morphs the music of UMD performers into an intriguing wash of electro-acoustic sound. The recordings are played through speakers and reflected off the sounding board of an on-site piano. Participants can play the piano to make their own original recordings that will be immediately featured in the installation. It’s a celebration of the unique and diverse music-making happening on campus!
