In this lecture about the intersection of music business and the law, Anthony Seeger, Distinguished Professor of Ethnomusicology Emeritus at UCLA, gives an introduction to the constantly emerging technologies, contracts, and the legal and ethical parameters of musical creativity in the United States and the world.
Dr. Seeger has taught courses on the music industry and developed his perspective based on 12 years as the founding director/curator of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings at the Smithsonian Institution.
