They made their performance debut in New York City’s Union Square metro station, and their YouTube video went viral because you can’t resist this 20-somethings funky trio of trumpet, baritone saxophone and drums. Subway buskers whose beats and newly created musical style they call “brass house” are moving forward the mainstream pop-music formula.

The space, light and architecture of The Clarice is invaded by colorful dancers whose curious bodies accentuate and transform what we see around us. Our surroundings — the shapes, terrain, rhythms and stories — are active participants in this site-specific work that reacquaints us with the familiar. We have a dance mystery on our hands!
