Position Summary

The Scenic Carpenter provides assistance to the Scene Shop Coordinator in the supervision and execution of the day-to-day operations of The Clarice. Candidates should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, work safely and exhibit professional behavior at all times.

Requirements

  • Expertise in theatrical carpentry, welding, rigging, and assembly.

  • Position may include supervised and unsupervised work as directed by the Scene Shop Coordinator as well as student supervision

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in lifts and at height

  • Follow and instruct others on the rules and regulations of The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

Work Hours are generally weekdays with occasional weekend calls.
