MFA Design Exhibition Showcases Student Theatre Creations
Artwork provided by School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies
It’s been said “Everything is designed. Few things are designed well.” But well-designed things are a joy to experience, and that’s what you’ll find at the 2013 MFA Design Exhibition, which can be enjoyed in two different locations this year.
Experience the ingenious work of UMD’s School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS) Masters in Fine Arts Design students as they display their theatrical creativity in costume, lighting and scene design. These talented students are part of a degree program in which they work with an award-winning faculty of professional designers and have opportunities to intern at the more than 75 professional theatres in the Washington/Baltimore corridor.
