Sara Gordon

As the Manager of Guest Experience, Sara (she/her) oversees the Ticket Office and Front of House operations at The Clarice, working closely with the Guest Experience Coordinators and student staff members to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable and memorable visit to our beautiful building. 

Born and raised inside the beltway, Sara began working with the Guest Experience team at The Clarice in 2014, returning home to The Clarice after completing her B.A. in Theatre with the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. In between, Sara could be found in the box offices of theatres all across the DC area, most notably at Imagination Stage, Arena Stage, and the Capital Fringe Festival.

Although she has found her calling in arts administration, audience experience, and data analysis, Sara’s dabbled in just about every area of the theatre from performance to stage management to make-up design. She has a particular penchant for mentoring the next generation of theatre artists, and has produced trips to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a local high school program.

When Sara isn’t doing artsy things, she plays softball and flag football, cooks up elaborate dinner parties, and hangs out in DC with her husband, their son, and their one-eyed cat.
