Kara is the Production Manager for The Clarice, leading the Production Management Office in coordinating a wide variety of events -- from the School of Music's public programming, the Artist Partner Program's varied visiting artists, rental guests of The Clarice, and everything in between. An Ohio native, she received her BFA from Wright State University in Design and Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Management.

Prior to her time at The Clarice, she lived and worked in New York City for almost a decade. Her credits include serving as production stage manager for Vital Theatre Company, who first produced the hit children's musical "Pinkalicious" based on the best selling book; assistant stage manager and stage manager for a variety of shows at Classic Stage Company, an award winning Off-Broadway Theatre focused on bringing classical works to contemporary audiences; and Assistant Production Manager and Stage Crew Supervisor at the Brevard Music Center, one of this country's premier summer music festival and training programs.

Just prior to relocating to Maryland, she worked as the Associate Production Manager for IMCD Lighting, Inc., where she helped manage 10 seasons of Fashion Week, among countless other events including weddings, parties, corporate events, fashion shows, and retail installations.

Kara is a certified American Red Cross instructor and a temporarily withdrawn member in good standing of both Actors Equity Association and USA 829.
