Led by NOI+F alumna and faculty member Alana Wiesing, the Network for Diversity in Concert Percussion is a collective of performers, educators and businesses who serve as a resource for, and support to, aspiring professional percussionists from underrepresented and underserved communities. These communities include, but are not limited to, Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Queer and female and with an effort to improve equity, diversity, access and inclusion in the concert percussion community.

Through this burgeoning collaboration, the NDCP will encourage and sponsor their Emerging Artists (NDCP artists ages 18-25) to apply and audition for NOI+F. Upon admission, one student will receive a full tuition scholarship to attend the festival, transportation and food stipends as well as complimentary housing. Other NDCP Emerging Artists will be invited to participate in parts of the month-long NOI+F, including masterclasses, sectionals, rehearsals and performances.
