Mark your calendars for this Guest Artist Series Recital featuring flutist Jennifer Parker-Harley! Lie Down and Listen is an innovative concert experience that combines ancient practices of mindfulness meditation and flute-playing. Audience members are invited to bring yoga mats and find comfortable spaces in the hall and on the stage to listen to solo flute music by a wide range of composers and in a wide range of styles. Listening will be guided by mindfulness principles of present-moment awareness and non-judgment.
