Small Business/Big Art: Third Coast Percussion

The business of being an artist is rapidly changing. Small Business/Big Art is a series of moderated conversations with students and entrepreneurial artists in casual settings that reveal the new and changing ways artists create business models that sustain them both operationally and artistically. Join members of Third Coast Percussion, an artist-led organization and percussion ensemble, and directors from Art Works Now, a locally based artist-led small business, for this highly interactive and informative discussion.

Black Arm Band: Digeridoo Workshop

Didgeridoo virtuoso Tjupurru will teach a workshop for area didgeridoo enthusiasts at Takoma Park's House of Musical Traditions. A limited number of instruments will be provided, so bring your own if you have one. All levels of playing welcome!
