Sound is central in every Filter Theatre production. Filter creates the sound for their productions with “the mechanics” in full view of the audience. They do this by using instruments, found objects and custom created pieces and this is an opportunity to explore the world of sound and how it can enhance the text.

Participants will work alongside a Filter musician and actor in a 90 minute workshop that is hands on and practical and will leave with an understanding of how sound can play a central role in the creation and performance of a piece of theatre.
