What is NextNOW Fest?

Started in 2014, NextNOW Fest is the University of Maryland’s yearly creative welcome and welcome back for Terps. It features two evenings of music, theatre and dance performances, as well as immersive, technology-driven installations by artists from around campus and the country. 

Where is NextNOW Fest?

NextNOW Fest takes place at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. The Clarice is located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus at the intersection of Stadium Drive and University Boulevard, across from Maryland Stadium and the Riggs Alumni Center. When is NextNOW Fest 2017?

NextNOW Fest 2017 will take place Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Who can attend NextNOW Fest?

NextNOW Fest is open to all! Whether you’re a student, faculty member or staff member at the university, or a member of the local community, you are welcome to attend NextNOW Fest.

How much does it cost to attend NextNOW Fest?

NextNOW Fest is open to all and is free for UMD students to attend. For NextNOW Fest 2017, Australian String Quartet and GAZR will require paid tickets for non-UMD students to attend. UMD students may reserve their free ticket to  Australian String Quartet and GAZR starting on September 11, 2017. All other NextNOW Fest 2017 events are free for all and no tickets are required.
