Through Brod's romantic Quintet in C Major, Jolivet's thrilling Sèrènade, Franciax's virtuosic Wind Quintet No. 2 and Damase's lighthearted Dix-Sept Variations, the Daraja Ensemble explores the unique variety that exists within the French wind quintet repertoire. 

The Daraja Ensemble is the Graduate Fellowship Wind Quintet at the UMD School of Music. Committed to bridging performers with audiences worldwide, Daraja seeks spreads their love of music through outreach projects and adventurous programming. They are finalists in the 2016 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition in Easton, Maryland and are semi-finalists for the Astral Artists 2016 national auditions.
