COVID-19 Updates for Ticket Holders

The University of Maryland recently announced a transition to online learning for the rest of the academic year due to the rapidly and continually evolving coronavirus pandemic. In consideration of this decision, we regret to inform you that there will be no more in-person public performances at The Clarice for the Spring 2020 semester.

  • Performances and events scheduled until at least May 22, 2020 are now canceled. (This is an update to the previously announced cancellation of performances until at least April 12, 2020.)

  • The Ticket Office is currently closed indefinitely, but the Guest Experience staff is working remotely and can be reached at tickets-theclarice@umd.edu. We are available Monday through Friday from noon until 5 p.m.

  • We are offering the following options for returning your canceled tickets:

    • Return the full cost of your ticket and fees as a credit on your account, good through next season for your next visit to The Clarice or The ArtHouse.
    • Refund the full cost of your ticket and fees to your original purchase method. If you purchased more than 30 days ago, we will need your full credit card number to process a refund.
    • Turn your tickets into a tax deductible donation to The Clarice, the School of Music, or the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies.

Please reach out to Guest Experience at tickets-theclarice@umd.edu and a member of the team will follow up with a confirmation and more information about your return.

During this challenging time, we hope that you are safe and healthy. While we will miss the opportunity to celebrate the creative work of our UMD community together in-person this semester, we are looking into ways to bring that creativity to you virtually. Please stay tuned for additional details on how to stay connected!
