Jacqueline V. Howard is Director of Finance and Administration at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. In her role, she manages a $32 million portfolio and oversees the strategic direction of The Clarice's accounting, finance, information technology, human resources, and corporate counsel. For The Clarice's ever-expanding business and artistic portfolios, Howard has created a consistent financial infrastructure that complies with state government and foundation regulations, as well as generally accepted accounting principles. She has also piloted the growth of personnel and human resources functions by streamlining hiring, on-boarding, performance review for the organization's more than 50 full-time and 100 part-time student positions.

Jacqueline joined The Clarice in 2016, having served for four years with The Controller’s. Passionate about the next generation of professionals, she has also served in the University of Maryland's Black Faculty & Staff Mentorship Program. Howard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology.
