The Ashleigh Group (TAG) and Blue Dolphin Seafood Bar and Grill present an evening with The Temptations Revue featuring Dennis Edwards with a special guest appearance by The Soul Messengerz.

This event is also be an opportunity to introduce the work of Restore Together, a nonprofit organization whose primary mission is to build a global community to end poverty and oppression.

The Temptations to receive Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award

The Temptations’ lead singer, Dennis Edwards, and other members of the Motown soul group will receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at an invitation-only ceremony on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The award will be acknowledged during the telecast of the 55th Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10, 2013.

Replacing David Ruffin in 1968, Edwards was the Temptations' first new member after the original five. Edwards’ rich voice led the group through its psychedelic, funk and disco periods. Two of the Temptations’ songs on which he appears, "Cloud Nine" (1968) and "Papa Was a Rollin Stone" (1972), won Grammy Awards.
