In this career-building presentation, flutist and author of Clubbing for Classical Musicians, Sarah Robinson, gives practical advice on marketing and concert programming, while offering tips on producing chamber music events in unconventional spaces.  

Dr. Robinson is a founding member of Helix Collective, a Los Angeles-based ensemble that specializes in multi-media, collaborative performance and recording; the director of the Los Angeles Live Score Film Festival; and co-director of Classical Revolution: L.A.  Her book, Clubbing for Classical Musicians, is a guide to presenting music in alternative venues which has been called “enlightening, instructional, and inspiring.”

“Renegade” is a School of Music lecture series that empowers students to forge unique and innovative career paths in the arts.
