Richard Scerbo, Director of the National Orchestral Institute and Festival (NOI+F), selected as a 2016 Musical America Innovator

The Clarice is pleased to announce that Richard Scerbo, Director of the National Orchestral Institute and Festival (NOI+F), has been selected as a 2016 Musical America Innovator and is profiled in Musical America’s Innovators: 30 Professionals of the Year, Special Report. Selected from hundreds of performing arts professionals, Musical America Professionals of the Year are innovative, creative and forward-thinking arts leaders.

Appointed director of the National Orchestral Institute and Festival in 2015, Scerbo is reimagining the Festival’s educational and performance experiences with innovative initiatives to address musical entrepreneurship and professional development, diversity and patron experiences. Selected by a rigorous, cross-country audition tour, NOI participants quickly coalesce into vibrant ensembles that perform adventuresome repertoire at The Clarice and in the community.
