Friend of NOI+F and audience favorite John Morris Russell opens The Clarice’s 36th National Orchestral Institute + Festival. Featuring dazzling operatic selections performed by the NOI Philharmonic and members of Wolf Trap Opera, the concert begins with staples from Bizet's Carmen–the famous overture, Seguidilla and Habanera. Enjoy the mesmerizing “Flower Duet” from Lakmé and also works by Verdi like the triumphal march from Aida and La donna e mobile from Rigoletto.
