Heralded by the likes of Pitchfork, NPR Music and Paste, Black Belt Eagle Scout (Katherine Paul) stands as a powerful icon of radical indigenous queer feminism. The talented multi-instrumentalist grew up on the Swinomish Indian Reservation in northwest Washington state. KP's family chants, powwows and drumming deeply influence KP's music, which KP delivers "with passion and from the heart."
