After a tornado whisks away a young Kansas farm girl, Dorothy, to the magical land of Oz, she starts her quest to find the mighty Wizard of Oz who has the power to send her home. Along the way she meets a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion who help her on her journey, as well as a couple of witches and some munchkins!

Join Young Artists of America at Strathmore as over 120 talented young instrumentalists and vocalists come together to perform this magical score in concert, featuring Guest Narrator, Robert Aubry Davis of WETA and SiriusXM. The Wizard of Oz in Concert is based on the 1900 novel by L. Frank Baum, with music and lyrics from the 1939 MGM motion picture score by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg.
