Join the University of Maryland Repertoire Orchestra in their first concert of the 2016-2017 season with symphonic masterpieces conducted by James Ross, Director of Orchestras, and UMD graduate conductors Tiffany Lu and Shen Yiwen.

The University of Maryland Repertoire Orchestra is a unique all-campus orchestra that is open to music majors, non-music majors and members of the University of Maryland community. Led by graduate conducting students at UMD, the orchestra prides itself on a wide range of projects, collaborations and repertoire.

  • Hindemith - Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber
  • Mendelssohn - Die Hebriden ("Fingal's Cave"), Op. 26
  • Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67
