See the frequently asked questions page for Off-campus Housing options.

NOI does not provide a traditional meal plan for participants due to the large number of eating establishments located on the University of Maryland campus and surrounding area. Local options include restaurants, campus cafes, campus restaurants, and campus dining halls. UMD-operated locations accept cash and credit card payment. All on campus lodging has access to a shared kitchen within their respective suite. Some participants may wish to do a combination of eating in and going out. NOI staff will schedule several trips to a local grocery store for those participants without transportation who need to purchase food for their residence hall. In addition, several meals will be catered for the orchestra, including some bagel breakfasts, picnics, post-concert receptions, and pizza nights, to name a few.

Participants that wish to park their car on the University of Maryland campus will be required to purchase a parking permit. More information will be made available regarding the cost and specific parking locations upon acceptance.

Wireless internet access is available to participants throughout the UM campus for nominal fee.  Free internet is available to Eduroam members.  (Check to see if your current college/university participates in Eduroam.)
