Guest Experience Coordinator

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Guest Experience Coordinator is to train a student and volunteer staff to provide strong and consistent customer service to The Clarice’s guests including ticket buyers, event attendees, visitors, external clients, faculty, staff and students.

It is also crucial for the coordinator to maintain a ticketing database, reconcile revenue, prepare reports, manage ticket inventory, control crowds, oversee public facilities and ensure the accessibility of The Clarice’s spaces for all guests. The coordinator must ensure adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive workspace.



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in performing arts
  • Two years of professional experience in ticketing or front of house operations
  • One year of professional experience in customer service
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • Experience supervising employees in an professional setting
  • Available to work evenings and weekends for performances



  • Experience in ticketing or front of house operations in the performing arts
  • Experience with CRM database management and reporting
  • Experience in implementing operating policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience working with students
  • Experience hiring, scheduling and training staff
  • Experience recruiting, scheduling, training and leading volunteers
  • Knowledge of current practices and procedures in professional performing arts management
  • Strong organization and management skills

  • Standing for long periods of time for events
