Sweat meets the dance floor in this exciting evening of contemporary ballet and hip-hop dance. Featuring nationally-recognized, DC-based contemporary ballet Dissonance Dance, Culture Shock DC, UMD's Phunktions Dance Company, and Ngoma Center for Dance's youth ensemble, ME is a show molded by urban living and music. A musical revue in structure, ME celebrates life experiences through the music of current and past musical artists. This annual performance brings together commercial and traditional concert dancers in fellowship to explore the concepts of self-reflection, self-affirmation, and community.
