Philharmonic

Photo by Alison Harbaugh.The National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic is comprised of the most talented young orchestral players from across the country. Totaling more than 90 instrumentalists each summer, the Philharmonic is led by renowned conductors and mentored by a distinguished cast of faculty drawn from the nation’s top orchestras and conservatories.

As a member of the Philharmonic, you receive weekly sectional coachings and masterclasses on the concert repertoire.  Additional masterclass topics address audition techniques and audition repertoire.  Mock auditions provide a chance to receive feedback from the various conductors and faculty.
