Program Notes:

The U.S. Air Force Band honors those who have served, inspires American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively impacts the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America.

On this night everyone in attendance will be inspired as Colonel Larry H. Lang, commander and conductor of the United States Air Force Band, shares the stage with the University of Maryland Wind Ensemble.

Both bands will attempt to inspire through the works of Paul Creston, Gordon Jacob, Percy Grainger and John Philip Sousa; but the real inspiration begins as Colonel Lang invites our young musicians to sit beside the professionals to perform a robust and spectacular finale to the program.
