Join us for two exciting brand new one acts created and performed by TDPS students.

That Kind of Girl is a devised piece exploring the experience of being a woman today. Gretel is an innovative take on the age-old German fairy tale Hansel and Gretel set to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.

A TDPS Second Season production. The UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies presents its inaugural “Second Season” with works created, written, designed, produced and performed by our entrepreneurial undergrad and graduate students.

Review by DC Metro Theater Arts

[That Kind of Girl] pokes and prods, titillates and touches the audience in a provocative series of intimate moments that question what it means to be fully human while being fully female…

Gretel is sensed more than perceived…the creativity of this work is amazing. It is the imagination running wild.
