A Benefit Concert showcasing Classical, Jazz, R&B and Gospel performed by national, regional and youth musicians.

Featured Artists: Leon Rawlings and the 76 Degrees West Band in a Special Tribute to Chuck Brown, the world renowned, Grammy nominated, and legendary Godfather of Go-Go. They will be joined by The Honorable Derrick Leon Davis and The Honorable Will Campos on saxophone. Special Guests include The Richard Payne Trio and The Tribe Inc. There will be a special combined choir presentation by John Stricklett on piano, and amazing student musicians from Columbia Park Elementary School, DC Boys Choir, DuVal High School, Forestville High School, Gwynn Park High School, Largo High School, Oxon Hill High School & Surrattsville High School.

This benefit concert will raise awareness of the importance of music education and the arts in a child’s development, increase the community’s exposure to a variety of music genres and provide quality, affordable programming for the entire family.

Proceeds from the concert will support FAME’s after school and scholarship programs. This performance is supported in part by the Washington Redskins, M-NCPPC Arts and Cultural Heritage Division, The Washington Informer, The Gazette and the Prince George’s County Maryland Council.
